The South Eastern Lacrosse Conference (SELC) is a lacrosse-only athletic conference affiliated with the Men's Collegiate Lacrosse Association (MCLA).〔http://www.collegelax.us/news/2007/10/11/high-point-university-lacrosse-recognized-in-selc-conference/〕 The SELC incorporates teams in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia, and is divided into two divisions, Division I and Division II. All of the SELC DI members are members of NCAA Division I. Currently the SELC DI league includes nine member schools from the Southeastern Conference (SEC), seven member schools from the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC), three member schools from the American Athletic Conference (AAC), and one member school from the Big 12 Conference.〔http://www.roanoke.com/sports/college/wb/245419〕
